This consists of 14 challenge cards relating to fiction and non fiction books as follow up activities for children after they have completed a book, or after a visit to the library. There are writing and drawing activities included. This is suitable for KS1 and KS2 and can be used for differentation. It would be a useful tool for World Book day. A great resource for KS1 to stimulate their writing. These are prompts about summer activities with pictures of animals, sandcastles, children and summer accessories. Very similar to my Easter and Spring Story prompts. They can be printed out and can be laminated for groups of children. Also good for differentation. Also be suitable for the less able children in KS2.

This is an original poem written by me about a seaside town in Victorian times compared with the town today. It has previously been published as a stand alone poem but not with worksheets included. the worksheets involve comprehension, Spag,internet research, historical facts and drawing conclusions. it is suitable for KS2 or upper KS1.The worksheets allow for differentation or can be printed out as an entire workbook. This resource would link well with a Victorian topic.

This Christmas assembly is a unique resource consisting of a 23 page PDF file and Powerpoint presentation. It is Christmas taken from the viewpoint of animals, donkeys, robins, sheep. The animals introduce themselves and tell the children about their various roles on Christmas Eve. These little stories could be used for a Christmas class assembly. The follow up activities include writing and drawing activities, comprehension questions, a nativity wordmat,storywriting, poetry writing, newspaper reports and an internet activity.
